Sunpoint at St.Mary’s Lake

Having your ceremony at Sun Point at St. Mary Lake is such a great choice because the location is absolutely breathtaking! You can enjoy the beauty of the lake and the surrounding mountains while exchanging your vows!

Things to Consider:

– The views!!! It’s absolutely stunning! You get that turquoise lake with grand mountain views and gorgeous sunsets! It can get windy at this location, BUT the wind can make the moments so magical! (check out my Insta!)
– It can get busy in the summer time but if you choose a later sunset ceremony time, the crowds usually will clear out by then.
– I am always asked if there is hiking required to get to this location and no there isn’t. The parking lot is fairly close to this location. you will have to walk up a gravel hill so I suggest bringing a change of shoes if you don’t feel confident in walking something like that in your wedding shoes!

Big Bend on Going-to-the-Sun Road

Choosing Big Bend on Going-to-the-Sun Road to elope is a fantastic option! It’s a popular spot for weddings and elopements due to its breathtaking views. This is probably my most requested location for all inquiring sessions! Plus, Big Bend has gorgeous wildflowers in the later summer months and is close to Logan Pass and the other stunning views the Going to the Sun Road has to offer! So you can make a whole day of your elopement! Taking a tour on The Red Bus Tours would be an excellent activity so you can really get amazing views of the mountains!

Things to Consider:

– The views speak for themselves! It just recently opened up again to have ceremonies this year!!!
– There is no hiking required! You will have to walk a little ways from your car, but it’s close!
– Again, this place can get very crowded as it is a very popular spot in the park. If you are looking for a more intimate ceremony, this is probably not it! There are a ton of other locations you can choose from!

Pray Lake by Two Medicine

Pray Lake by Two Medicine is another great ceremony location when planning to have a wedding in Glacier National Park! You’ll have views of the lake, mountains, and trees making it the perfect spot to have a ceremony. You can also rent a boat to take you out onto the lake and make the occasion even more romantic. Imagine riding off in the sunset after exchanging your vows! There are also hiking trails nearby for you to explore!

Things to Consider:

-The number one reason why I love this location is that it allows so many people to join in on your ceremony (up to 30 people)! That is really important to some people!
-There is a beautiful lake with stunning mountain views in the distance!
-If you want adventure, this is your ceremony location! It’s a great starting point! We are within driving distance of a gorgeous waterfall and can finish the evening off by meeting the sunset at the top of the mountain with gorgeous mountain and lake views!

Many Glacier Hotel Area | Stay After Your Wedding at Glacier National Park!

Many Glacier Hotel is the largest hotel in Glacier National Park!  The hotel is five stories and sits on the shore of Swiftcurrent Lake inside the park and has some lakeside rooms. You could stay after your elopement for an adventure with guided hiking trips, Red Bus Tours, horseback riding, and more!

Things to Consider:

-This area is beautiful! Not only does the hotel have so much character, but the lake and mountain views behind it are absolutely STUNNING!!!
-You are very close to Grinnell Glacier which is a very popular hike with some gorgeous bright turquoise
lakes! So, if you are looking for an adventure, this is definitely somewhere you should elope!

7 Mile Pull-Out (Sandy Point) on Lake McDonald

7 Mile Pull-Out (Sandy Point) on Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park is a simple yet beautiful ceremony location as well and perfect for a romantic elopement surrounded by the beautiful Lake McDonald! This is Glacier National Park’s biggest lake! Also, another option where you could do a boat tour and get some great elopement shots!

Things to Consider:

-Another stunning area! This location is the closest to the Kalispell area, so if you are looking for something simple but with gorgeous views, this is your place!
-This location is also very close to another very popular hike in the park: Avalanche Lake! It is stunning!!! Very popular, so you may fight a crowd, but if you want to add an easy adventure to your elopement day, this would be sooo perfect!!
