Micaela and Joseph’s rustic outdoor wedding at Summer Star Ranch in Helena, MT was absolutely gorgeous. This stunning couple first met in California during their training as air officers in the Air Force on the first day of class in September of 2020. They hit it off instantly! Micaela was moving here to Montana, while Joseph was moving to North Dakota. They made it work even with the distance. A year and a half into dating, they ran their second Spartan Race together. Joseph proposed to Micaela at the finish line! Micaela said it was the easiest decision of her life. And now here they are, celebrating their beautiful wedding at Summer Star Ranch, and what an honor it is for me to have been their Montana wedding photographer!
Micaela & Joseph’s Rustic Outdoor Summer Star Ranch Wedding
Unfortunately, Joseph was still living in North Dakota at the time. He was unable to tour some of the wedding venues with Micaela. She ended up driving to Summer Star Ranch with her family, and she immediately fell in love with the beautiful rolling hills, towering tree’s, and the stunning mountain views. It was exactly what she envisioned for their wedding day. Both her and Joseph love the outdoors. They enjoy camping and hiking together in their free time, so getting married in this setting was right up their alley!
Aside from the gorgeous views from this Montana wedding venue, Micaela loved how helpful and kind the ranch owners were throughout the entire process. This wedding day was nothing short of perfection. From the beautiful rustic outdoor ceremony space and the perfect indoor reception area that was adorned with twinkling lights above head and along the wooden walls. It created such a warm and cozy atmosphere for their reception.
