In the quiet embrace of winter’s frosty enchantment, a love story unfolds amid the canvas of glistening snowflakes and soft cry of his fiancé. Two hearts, warmed by the promise of forever, embark on a journey through a magical winter wonderland. When I tell you this surprise mountain proposal in Glacier National Park was magical, I truly mean it. Roger had reached out to me to capture his surprise proposal to Paula, and it was absolutely beautiful. Lake McDonald and the snow capped mountains were the perfect backdrop for this proposal! This magical day will forever live on in my memories!

Roger & Paula’s Magical Winter Mountain Proposal at Lake McDonald

When I arrived at Lake McDonald to capture Roger’s surprise proposal to Paula, it was snowing. It truly looked like we were in the magical winter wonderland of a snow globe. The snow, the lake, and the love between the two was perfect. I of course was hidden away and watched as Roger and Paula admired the views of Lake McDonald. Roger then knelt down on one knee and popped the question. Paula was shocked to say the least, but incredibly happy! The look on her face was absolutely priceless, and once she spotted me she was also shocked by that!

And let me just say that these two wore the perfect winter outfits for a proposal and photos! I loved the look of Paula’s coat and the neutral colors they wore. There’s just nothing more romantic than snow capped mountains and the views of Glacier National Parks winter wonderland. Towards the end Roger and Paula had a mini snow fight and we were able to get some magical photos out of that also! Overall this was such a beautiful and magical winter surprise proposal!
